Issue of Certificate
After completing all requirements, and successfully passing the assessment based on the marking of the results, the Welder will be issued with a suite of certificates and documents that include
Competency Certificate
Safety VoC Statement
Assessment Report
Suite of Welder Qualifications
Welder Qualification Range of Approval Statement
These documents are all available via the MWC Portal.
The following slides provide examples of the suite of documentation that is issued for each welder, along with a brief explanation of how it is used
Sticker
In addition, Welders will also receive a reflective sticker with the competency level, which they can put on their Hard-Hat or Welding Helmet in order to provide a quick and simple way for anybody to know what MWC Level they are.
This makes it easier for management and coordination of multiple welders during repairs on a mine site or shutdown.
