Enrolment Process
Enrolment of welders into either MWC Level 1, MWC Level 2 or MWC Level 3 pathway is required to commence the MWC Program.
Enrolment can be done directly by the employer, or by the MWC Accredited Provider who is managing the MWC Program for a company.
Enrolment of welders can is done via the MWC Portal, after the welders have been added to the Portal
The steps for the enrolment process using the Portal are outlined below.
Add Welders to the MWC Portal
Welders must be added to the MWC Portal before selecting them for enrolment in the MWC Program. Note that the MWC portal is free for use and can be used to manage the details for all welders - including those that are not doing the Mining Welder Competency.
Enrol Welders
Users with "Manager" user level enrol welders for their intended Competency Level pathway.
Enrol all the welders that you want to complete the MWC Program.
The $400 enrolment fee must be paid for each welder before the enrolment is approved. MWC will issue an invoice for payment.
The employer (and their nominated MWC Accredited Provider) will be notified when the enrolment is processed.
